​音樂會 Concert

2024首屆「臺灣國際大提琴藝術節」的高雄場音樂會，將濃縮台北三場「大提琴的多重宇宙《一日篇》」的演出菁華，以饗南方樂迷。首先由德國大提琴家延斯-彼得‧邁因茨及臺裔大提琴家楊文信演奏巴赫的第三號及第五號《大提琴組曲》部分樂章揭開序幕，接著瑞士大提琴家克里斯蒂安‧波特拉帶來英國作曲家威廉‧華爾頓極端考驗琴藝的《帕薩卡利亞舞曲》、爵士大提琴家史蒂芬‧布勞恩與爵士鋼琴家曾增譯搭檔演出爵士即興、巴洛克作曲家庫普蘭旋律充滿色彩變化的大提琴三重奏《音樂會曲》、以爵士獨奏及古典大提琴五重奏，先後詮釋孟德爾頌《仲夏夜之夢》的〈詼諧曲〉，壓軸的「臺灣之聲」，八位大提琴家將演出瑞士作曲家法比安‧穆勒將茶香轉化成音符的三首《茶之樂》及臺灣作曲家李哲藝膾炙人口的臺灣民謠改編曲，展現大提琴豐沛敘事與極致音色。

In a memorable concert the audience will experience a diverse overview of the first "Taiwan International Cello Festival" (TWICF) 2024 featuring the invited star guests and celebrated cellists!

Rediscovered by the legendary cellist Pablo Casals the most important repertory for all cellists are the solo suites by J.S. Bach. Jens Peter Maintz and Wen-Sinn Yang perform Bach's solo suites, showcasing some dance movements from the Suites Nos. 3 and 5. William Walton's Passcaglia allows Swiss cellist Christian Poltéra to reveal the cello's wonderful lyrical side. Then, get ready for a thrilling jazz experience with German virtuoso Stefan Braun on the cello, accompanied by pianist Mike Tseng.

After the break, it continues with elegant baroque music by François Couperin for cello trio and Mendelssohn's beloved Scherzo arranged for five cellos, demanding the highest level of virtuosity.

In the finale, "Sound of Taiwan," all eight cellists unite for Fabian Müller's musical interpretation of exquisite teas in a new version for cello octet and Lee Che-Yi's Taiwanese Folksong arrangements.
